Winpower wins tender for EDA to replace 4 air coolers at Belo Jardim Thermal Power Plant on Terceira Island, Azores
WinPower was selected by EDA to supply 4 air cooled radiators to replace the existing ones associated with the HV and LV cooling circuits of groups 5 and 6 of the Belo Jardim Thermal Power Plant on Terceira Island, Azores.
The previous equipment shows normal operating wear. To ensure the continued availability of generator sets 5 and 6 for the supply of energy on Terceira Island, EDA launched a public tender for their timely replacement.
WinPower was selected for this project seeing the offer was in compliance with the requirements put out to tender by EDA , within the defined budget, in which the main challenge is the ability to supply air coolers with 20% more thermal dissipation capacity than the previous ones, in the same implementation area.
The scope of this project for WinPower is the supply of equipment, its metallic support structure and access for maintenance, as well as the electrical panels for supplying energy and controlling the air coolers operation modes.
