The Cabo verde utility company signed a contract with WinPower S.A. in 2017 to major overhaul 4 Generator sets with 1,6MW each, including parts supply, turbocharger overhauls and Technical Advisory (TA) services. Fulfilling all the client expectations, in 2021 a new contract was signed and WinPower S.A. now overhauls all MAN engines in Cabo Verde, with a total of 7 Generator sets.
WinPower provide full maintenance services for 8L21/31 MAN engines and alternators, with our certified team by MAN PrimeServ, including a 24/7 helpline support on the operational events reported and ongoing training to local personnel according to the power plant systems, equipment’s, procedures and O&M operations.
The remote services include a 24/7 helpline support and a full Technical Advisory (TA) that uses our advanced SCADA system with remote access to monitorize power plant status and create a monthly report, regarding the systems and individual equipment performance for an accurate predictive maintenance.
Every six months Winpower performs a technical audit on site by an engineering team, with an extensive and fully detailed report that includes all mechanical and electrical systems.
